This place is reason enough to visit the town of Dinosaur, Dinosaur National Monument, or Northwestern Colorado. Bill and Leona are wonderful people—combine their friendly service with their inviting shop and homemade ice cream, and what you have is an unforgettable experience. My wife, kids, and I loved it!
I went about 15 years ago on a trip and always loved ice cream because of this place. I had a vanilla malt and nothing has ever compared to how amazing it was.Best homemade ice cream ever had.
This is the second time I have stopped at this cool little place in the middle of nowhere. I had the pastrami sandwich on rye with garden tomatoes and it was the best sandwich that I have ever had. I will stop everytime time I go through. Treat yourself, it also has good ice cream.
Great place for a quick bite to eat while you are in the area. The sandwiches and shakes were fantastic. The couple that runs the place is great. Very friendly and took genuine interest in what were were doing in the area. They were very knowledgeable about the area and pointed us to a rock art site we did not previously know about.
It's a wonderful couple that run this delightful place.
